Born in Milan, Italy, Matteo Pellegrini attended film school in Milan and University in Bologna. From 1994-1997 he executed a series of short films which were highly acclaimed and won him various International awards (Venice, Torino, Rome, Bologna, Trieste, Montreal, Montpellier, Annecy, Bastia, Argeles-Sur-Mer, St.Petersburg, Valencia, Umea, New York, Los Angeles, London).
